**NOTE** you need a legit purchased copy of Battlefield Vietnam for this to work**
Step 1:-
Install Battlefield Vietnam

Step 2:-
Copy and paste the following lines of text into your hosts file, which can be found by going to:
C – Windows – System 32 – Drivers – etc – Hosts
65.112.87.186 bfvietnam.available.gamespy.com
65.112.87.186 bfvietnam.master.gamespy.com
65.112.87.186 bfvietnam.ms0.gamespy.com

Step 3:-
Next you will need to install the 1.2 and 1.21 patch in that order
1.2 patch here

1.21 patch here

Step 4:-
Download the 1.21 No Cd crack/patch here

Step 5:-
Once you have download the 1.21 no cd patch extract the file to a location of your choice.
Then you will have the following files after extracting, MODS, BFVietnam and Simple

Step 6:-
You need to copy and paste the MODS file and BFVietnam file into your Battlefield Vietnam install location
For example my location is
This PC – D – Battlefield Vietnam
Paste your MODS file and click yes to replace and do the same with you BFVietnam file, copy and paste into your Battlefield Vietnam install location and click yes to replace.

Step 7:-
Launch Battlefield Vietnam, you may need to use the Vietnam.exe from your Battlefield Vietnam install location instead of your desktop icon as it has overridden it.

Step 8:-
You are now ready to play!
