The construction of the U -Tapao International Airport of the Eastern Airport City projects, is expected to commence this year. The $9 billion development plan was approved in 2020, which comprises the third airport terminal, the Airport City commercial gateway, the free trade zone, maintenance, repair, and overhaul facilities, and a Training center for aeronautical personnel.
U-Tapao International Airport near Pattaya, Thailand, is undergoing a major upgrade to become one of the most innovative airports and multi-modal transport hubs in the Asia region.

Thailand ushered in a new age of train travel, as Southeast Asia’s biggest railway station officially began operations on the 19th of January 2023. Located around 10 kilometers north of central Bangkok, the move aims to ease traffic in Thailand’s busy capital.
Moving almost half of all long-haul train services from Hua Lamphong Station to Bang Sue Central Terminal will help the country realize its goal of turning the terminal into the biggest rail hub in Southeast Asia.

The government also hopes that moving long-distance passenger train services to the terminal, will cut back on trains passing level crossings and solve the traffic problem in Bangkok and neighboring areas.

It’s officially called Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal, a name bestowed by the king. But commonly known as Bang Sue Grand Station, after the part of Bangkok where it is located.

Port of Laem Chabang, Thailand. The world’s top 20 seaports, and the 4th biggest port in Southeast Asia. With an annual traffic, of 7 Point 55 million twenty-foot equivalent units of containers.
The largest port and the leading maritime port for Thailand. Currently, the port is in the midst of phase 3 development with state-of-the-art, but environmentally friendly equipment and technology, enabling faster services and reduced waiting times for vessels. These include a U-shaped structure, that is 800 meters wide and 2,000 meters long, alongside its depth of 18 meters.
The development will anticipate 8 million TEUs of additional capacity for cargo.

This is one of the key infrastructure projects in the flagship of the EEC Development Plan.

Construction of the high-speed railway started last October this year as the State Railway of Thailand has completed the expropriation of land for the project and the areas have been handed over to the contractor. The $7.2 billion project is set to be operational by 2026.
